Lufthansa is preparing to receive its first Airbus A350-1000 this fall, painted in a special blue and white livery to celebrate the carrier's upcoming centennial. The jet marks the airline's seventh aircraft to wear the commemorative markings and represents the seven-hundredth Airbus delivered to the Lufthansa Group. Stretching seven meters longer than the A350-900, the widebody will seat three hundred passengers across four classes. For aspiring airline pilots, this initial delivery highlights an ongoing long-haul fleet modernization that will introduce fifteen A350-1000s by 2030.
